The Microbial Ecology and Environmental Genomics Laboratory (MEEGL) is part of the Department of Microbiology and the Digital Science Center (DiSC) of the University of Innsbruck, and is led by Ass. Prof. Luis Miguel Rodriguez-R.

The main focus of MEEGL is the understanding of microbial community assembly through the use and development of bioinformatic techniques for the analysis of environmental genomics.
